The 2018 Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women begins tomorrow, August 2nd, in Louisville, KY, marking the celebration\u2019s 30th<\/sup> anniversary. The Special Offerings and Presbyterian Giving Catalog team will be celebrating, too, sharing the work of the whole church with Presbyterian women from all over the United States in the exhibit hall at the Galt House.<\/p>\n

Co-Moderator of the 223rd<\/sup> General Assembly, Vilmarie Cintr\u00f3n-Olivieri will make a special appearance over local BBQ and share her insights and experiences using the Presbyterian Giving Catalog <\/em>in her PW group and congregation.\u00a0 Recently she posted on Facebook \u201cThank you for the work you do around the world through the ministry of this catalog.\u00a0 Thank you for providing diverse ways to contribute to the mission of the church.\u201d\u00a0 <\/strong>She will kick-off the event which features another special guest, Jerry Can, the star of our brand new Jerry Can Curriculum \u2013 great for children\u2019s Sunday school or Vacation Bible School.\u00a0 If you are interested in attending, please reach out to us at PresbyterianGifts@pcusa.org or 502-569-5047.<\/p>\n

This means your congregation participates in all four Special Offerings \u2013 One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost, Peace & Global Witness, and Christmas Joy \u2013 every calendar year. Stop by to learn if your church is Four for Four<\/strong>, and if not, learn more about how we can to make that happen together.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also be talking about the upcoming Peace & Global Witness Offering<\/a>, taking place on World Communion Sunday (October 7).
