Research shows church members give significantly more when their leaders share their excitement and passion for a Special Offering.<\/p>\n<p>Consider these ideas to involve your members &amp; inspire them to give:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the <a href=\"\/resource\/2016-one-great-hour-sharing-leaders-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leader&rsquo;s Guide<\/a>, with all sorts of resources to help you build excitement for this Offering season, including a sample pastor letter, blog post content, newsletters, and stories of OGHS&#8217;s impact around the world<\/li>\n<li>Set a goal for your church, and publicly track your progress towards meeting it<\/li>\n<li>Plan a special church service highlighting the OGHS ministries<\/li>\n<li>Encourage the energy and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.presbyterianmission.org\/browse\/resources-resource\/tag\/offering%20kids\/\" target=\"_blank\">creativity of your youth <\/a>by involving them in coin box projects, music suggestions or skits, and handing out <a href=\"\/resource\/2016-one-great-hour-sharing-bulletin-inserts\/\" target=\"_blank\">bulletin inserts<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Host a church rummage sale or pitch-in, with proceeds going to the OGHS Offering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">If you have not received your OGHS Materials, call Presbyterian Distribution Services at 800-524-2612.
