Women’s Leadership Development and Young Women’s Ministries is a national ministry of the Presbyterian Mission Agency operating within Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries (RE&WIM). The office provides resources and training programs to young adult women ages 18-35 considering leadership opportunities in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Presbyterian Women moderator states plan for moving forward

“Don’t believe me just watch,” a line from Mark Ronson’s upbeat dance tune, “Uptown Funk,” filled the banquet hall at the 2018 Gathering of Presbyterian Women as the group of nearly 2,000 celebrated the many significant accomplishments of the Presbyterian Women Inc. (PW) over the past 30 years. And if you couldn’t believe all the accomplishments of PW, all you had to do was watch the video. Attendees were entertained and educated by the video that chronicled a timeline of historic events of the past three decades of PW.

Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations looks ahead to new year

As the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) looks ahead to 2018, its ministry will include hosting delegates to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and other work at the U.N. Seventy-two years ago, the newly formed United Nations approved a charter that has been the foundation of its work ever since.
