PC(USA)-related Menaul School receives six Ukrainian refugees

Menaul School, in cooperation with two global non-profit agencies, Spiritual Orphans Network (SON) and This Child Here, announced last month that the school has received six Ukrainian students as part of ongoing war relief efforts.

Yuriy Lifanse has been named as a 2023 International Peacemaker for the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program. He is a leader in the Community of Sant’Egidio, an international lay Catholic association committed to social service, which was founded in 1968 and has about 50,000 members worldwide.

Webinar focuses on nonviolent action in Ukraine

With the one-year anniversary of Russia’s continued aggression toward Ukraine looming on Friday, a webinar was held Thursday to discuss the impact of nonviolent resistance against the war and to make recommendations to Congress, including stressing the need for diplomacy.
