Presbyterian Foundation hires the Rev. Bill Davis and the Rev. Zoë Garry for Theological Education Fund posts

Preparing for the departure of Rev. Dr. Lee Hinson-Hasty this summer, the Presbyterian Foundation has hired two skilled and connected pastors to head up Theological Education Funds Development. The Rev. Bill Davis will join the Foundation as Senior Director of Theological Education Funds Development on June 29. The Rev. Zoë Garry will serve as Associate Director starting July 8.

PC(USA) campus ministry in New Orleans benefits from ecumenical partnerships

The Labyrinth Café and Gathering Place is a campus ministry for Tulane University and the University of New Orleans in uptown New Orleans. “It’s a community center where people can gather and ask deep questions about life and faith,” said the Rev. Zoë Garry, campus minister and director of the Labyrinth.

‘Get acquainted and get familiar with your intended community’

The Rev. Zoë Garry and the Rev. Ezequiel Herrera operate in different ministry settings. But as they found out during an hour-long conversation last week, which can be heard here, they share at least two traits: both are church planters, and both serve God and new worshiping communities in the Synod of the Sun.
