In the most recent edition of “Leading Theologically,” which can be viewed here, the Rev. Bill Davis and the Rev. Zoë Garry take a look back at the most recent season’s five broadcasts.
The Rev. Bill Davis, the new Senior Director of Theological Education Funds Development in the Presbyterian Foundation, said he is excited to invite congregations to observe Theological Education Sunday this September.
Preparing for the departure of Rev. Dr. Lee Hinson-Hasty this summer, the Presbyterian Foundation has hired two skilled and connected pastors to head up Theological Education Funds Development.
The Rev. Bill Davis will join the Foundation as Senior Director of Theological Education Funds Development on June 29. The Rev. Zoë Garry will serve as Associate Director starting July 8.
The Labyrinth Café and Gathering Place is a campus ministry for Tulane University and the University of New Orleans in uptown New Orleans. “It’s a community center where people can gather and ask deep questions about life and faith,” said the Rev. Zoë Garry, campus minister and director of the Labyrinth.
The Rev. Zoë Garry and the Rev. Ezequiel Herrera operate in different ministry settings. But as they found out during an hour-long conversation last week, which can be heard here, they share at least two traits: both are church planters, and both serve God and new worshiping communities in the Synod of the Sun.
