A ‘bridge builder’ at the Board of Pensions

The Rev. Dr. John G. McFayden, whose first employment in the Church was at age 13 as an employee of a Presbyterian camp on the North Carolina-Virginia line, has retired as Executive Vice President and Chief of Church Engagement for The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). His service spanned more than 40 years, 12 of them at the Board.

Embracing mental health for Asian Americans

Recently, I attended an online conference titled, “Mental Health and Asian Americans: Context and Strategies for Faith Leaders” hosted by the Center for Asian American Christianity at Princeton Theological Seminary. I am still processing my emotions.

Princeton Seminary president set to retire in 2023

The Rev. Dr. M. Craig Barnes, seventh president of Princeton Theological Seminary, has announced his intention to retire in 2023. Barnes will serve until a new president is named and assumes office, no later than June 2023.
