The Rev. Dr. Paul Snyder, who pastors an ELCA church and a PC(USA) church in the Presbytery of Minnesota Valleys, offered up a fascinating week-long course at Synod School last week he called “Leadership Development NOT Leadership Acquisition.”

First Presbyterian Church of Holland, Minnesota, will gather for worship on Ash Wednesday. But the service will be nontraditional, and the faithful there are asking Presbyterians across the country to devote some time at the beginning of Lent to do likewise, whether they’re worshiping in person or online.

Synod of the Northeast elects transitional leader

The Rev. Dr. SanDawna Gaulman Ashley was elected Friday as transitional leader of the Synod of the Northeast. She’ll begin in her new role on March 1, 2021.
