During the past year, over one million people have fled their homes in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of Congo because of military activities. As political unrest has spilled over into ethnic violence many villages were burned and health centers and schools were destroyed in the process.

Presbyterian World Mission pays tribute to Mulumba Musumba Mukundi

Presbyterian World Mission is celebrating the life and mourning the death of the Rev. Dr. Mulumba Musumba Mukundi, general secretary of the Presbyterian Church of Congo (CPC) and Rector of the Sheppards & Lapsley Presbyterian University of Congo. Born in February 1945, he passed away on the morning of March 29.
