PC(USA) ministries join forces to raise awareness of South Sudan famine, unrest

Several ministries of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) have issued alerts and provided information on their activities in response to the ongoing conflict in South Sudan. According to the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), 1.61 million people are internally displaced and another 751,000 people have escaped into neighboring countries, including Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda, since conflict broke out in 2013.

‘Living, Dying, Rising’ conference leader spotlight: Abby King-Kaiser

Abby King-Kaiser, senior assistant director for Ecumenical and Multifaith Ministry at the Dorothy Day Center for Faith and Justice at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, will serve as worship leader and coordinator for ‘Living, Dying, Rising,’ the 2017 national gathering for 1001 New Worshiping Communities.

Agencia Presbiteriana de Misión presenta la donación DREAM de $ 10,000 al SEPR

Un cheque para la Beca DREAM de $ 10,000 fue presentado al Sínodo de Boriquen en Puerto Rico para mejorar las tecnologías de aprendizaje a distancia en el Seminario Evangélico de Puerto Rico (SEPR). Tony De La Rosa, Director Ejecutivo Interino de la Agencia Presbiteriana de la Misión, ofreció el cheque a la Presidenta del SEPR, Dra. Doris J. García Rivera, durante la sesión plenaria de la tarde en la reunión de la Junta de la Agencia Presbiteriana de Misión (PMAB).
