Theological education in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is stepping up to the upheaval of our time, says the Rev. Dr. Katherine H. Smith.
“Our theological education institutions are innovative, responsive and responsible,” she said.
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s Board of Directors has voted to appoint the Rev. Dr. Asa J. Lee as the next president of the Seminary. Lee currently serves at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., as vice president for campus administration, associate dean for community life, and director of African American studies.
Thanks to revisions within Presbyterian Mission Agency’s Financial Aid for Service, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) students attending any accredited seminary in the U.S. can now apply for 2020-21 graduate scholarships awards at pcusa.org/apply4scholarships.
