In 1956, First Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama, decreed that no member of the “Negro race” would be allowed in its church. The present day congregation has spent the past two years repenting for this decision.

Princeton Theological Seminary president issues statement on 2017 Kuyper Lecture

The Rev. Craig Barnes, president of Princeton Theological Seminary, issued a statement earlier today reflecting on the events of the 2017 Kuyper Lecture at the school. The lecture, and the award of its namesake, has been in the news over the last several weeks.
