Back in 2013, I joined a German colleague who was working in Ghana on a visit to a rural health clinic run by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The Asia referred to in the Bible is but a small area, compared with what the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) now refers to as Asia and the Pacific. At the same time, the call to communicate the good news to all has not faded over centuries. The way in which we work with global partners to convey the message of the unconditional love of God now happens in thoughtful and creative ways as well as in a wide variety of contexts.
