The eight ministerial teams of the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) met at various locations around the city yesterday—including several churches and the Presbyterian seminary—as they conducted their business and heard from local religious leaders. The teams met as one component of the Board’s spring 2017 meeting in Puerto Rico.
The Committee on the Office of the General Assembly (COGA) began the third and final day of its March 21–23 meeting “still riding a lovely high” from the previous night’s service of worship,” in the words of the Rev. Wilson Kennedy, COGA’s vice moderator.
The newly formed Ministerial Teams gathered yesterday as part of the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board meeting and reported their activity to the plenary today. The teams consist of board members, PC(USA) agency and staff representatives working in the topical area being considered.
