Nearly 90 national staff members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) gathered online Wednesday for a Chapel service to honor the 12 colleagues whose positions were eliminated last week amid ministry reconfiguration announced by Executive Director and Stated Clerk of the General Assembly, the Rev. Jihyun Oh.

Giving thanks for seven members’ years of service on the A Corp Board

Service to the church plays a key role in any General Assembly. Commissioners and advisory delegates discern God’s will to shape the church’s mission and ministry. Resource persons and overture advocates share information to aid that process. Staff from the Office of the General Assembly, the Presbyterian Mission Agency and the Administrative Services Group as well as volunteers support the assembly’s work.

The PC(USA), A Corporation Board is briefed on 2025-26 unified budget proposal

On Thursday, members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation Board of Directors were briefed on the proposed unified budgets for 2025 and 2026, budgets that will authorize the upcoming work not only of the Administrative Services Group, but the Presbyterian Mission Agency and Office of the General Assembly as those two entities continue to unify under the guidance of the Unification Commission.
