En lugar de confiar en los medios de comunicación o las versiones del gobierno sobre lo que está pasando en la frontera entre Estados Unidos y México, es mejor que el pueblo presbiteriano dialogue con las personas y asociados que laboran en la cuestión de la inmigración.

PC(USA) Co-Moderator issues statement on move of U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem

The Rev. T. Denise Anderson, Co-Moderator of the 222nd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), recently returned from two weeks in Israel and Palestine as part of the Mosaic of Peace conference, a biennial event sponsored by the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program. Anderson raised several concerns in regard to the peace process and in light of yesterday’s move of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

New Jersey church seeks release for member picked up by federal authorities

First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, New Jersey is seeking the release of an Indonesian Christian member, picked up last week by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Roby Sanger was dropping his daughter off at middle school when the agents approached and took him into custody. He now faces deportation.
