Ghost Ranch operations transfer from PMA to National Ghost Ranch Foundation

As of January 1, 2017, the Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center has transferred its operations from the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to the National Ghost Ranch Foundation (NGRF). The NGRF, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in 1972 exclusively to support Ghost Ranch as a ministry of the PC(USA), has been providing financial, operational and volunteer resources for Ghost Ranch.

Presbyterian Mission Agency Board renews De La Rosa’s contract

A Corporation, met this afternoon to vote on Tony De La Rosa’s contract extension as PMA interim executive director and finalize details of the transfer of Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center to the National Ghost Ranch Foundation (NGRF).

Ghost Ranch moves closer to financial and operational self-sustainability

When the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) meets from Sept. 13–16, members of the board—together with representatives of the Presbyterian Foundation and the National Ghost Ranch Foundation (NGRF)—will consider the fundamentals of an agreement that has the potential to revitalize the mission and ministry of the Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center.

Several members of Presbyterian Mission Agency management convened yesterday in New York City to continue to develop a proposal to move the Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center toward eventual operational and financial sustainability.

The Executive Committee of the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), meeting for its annual retreat at Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago, Illinois, July 27-29, took action on the mission and ministry of the Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico.
