On Saturday, the Unification Commission introduced Kelly Beeland, a consultant with nearly three decades of experience helping companies and organizations with, among other tasks, change management and understanding culture. Beeland took commissioners through a half-hour presentation on the work she’s already begun. Her contract ends Dec. 31.
Meeting online Saturday, the Unification Commission heard from three human resources experts in the Administrative Services Group — Ruth Gardner, Anisha Hackney and Rick Purdy — on how a consultant might be brought on to strengthen the work of the commission as it merges the Office of the General Assembly and the Presbyterian Mission Agency.
Elizabeth M. Little has been named church consultant for The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) assigned to Charlotte, North Carolina. She joins the board from the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA), where she was a church support associate.
