Presbyterian World Mission has named Ruling Elder Vilmarie Cintrón-Olivieri and the Rev. José Manuel Capella-Pratts as new regional liaisons for the Caribbean. Cintrón-Olivieri has already begun her work and Capella-Pratts, her husband of 25 years, will join her in January 2022.
The ideas fly around the circle as delegates from nine countries and 12 Presbyterian and Reformed denominations respond to an Action Plan for the next two years. We are on the island of Curaçao, in the eastern Caribbean Sea, at the biennial meeting of CANACOM — the Caribbean and North American Council for Mission.
Young adults in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) ages 18–30 can now apply to serve during a Young Adults in Mission (YAM) Work Camp July 23-31 on the island of Curaçao in the eastern Caribbean Sea.
