Hoping to clarify what they believe is “confusion” and “misinformation” regarding their reports to General Assembly 223 (2018) in St. Louis, the Way Forward Commission and All Agency Review Committee of the 222nd General Assembly (2016) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) issued a letter today.

The Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) held a nearly two-and-a-half-hour conference call yesterday to discuss a proposal by its Governance Task Force (GTF) in light of recommendations made to the structure and operation of the agency’s corporate function — commonly referred to as the “A Corp” — by the All Agency Review Committee (AARC) and Way Forward Commission (WFC).

Gathered in Louisville for the first of its two meetings in 2018 prior to General Assembly 223 (2018) in St. Louis, the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) began its time together with reports from members of the executive committee.

The All Agency Review Committee is spending three days – Jan. 22-24 – with its members sitting in a conference room at the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) national offices in downtown Louisville, figuring out what to include in their report to the 2018 General Assembly.
