Committee approves proposed 2023-24 budgets for the Presbyterian Mission Agency

The Resource, Allocation and Stewardship Committee of the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board approved proposed PMA budgets for 2023 and 2024 Wednesday. Those budget proposals now go on for consideration by the full PMA Board when it meets later this month and then by the 225th General Assembly this summer.

Coordinating Committee approves comments on two significant General Assembly reports

The Coordinating Committee of the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board approved comments on two important items of business that will come before commissioners to the 225th General Assembly this summer. With the committee’s approval on Thursday, consideration on the comments will go to the full board for consideration during its meeting April 27-29.

Grants offsetting carbon emissions will support climate-friendly projects

Climate change will become a focus of the Matthew 25 invitation in 2022 and in support, global partners and ministry areas in the Presbyterian Mission Agency have created the Presbyterian Tree Fund to receive carbon offset donations that’ll be used for grants that support tree planting and other climate- friendly projects.
