LOUISVILLE Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary announces the appointment of Emalee S. Rose as the new vice president for the Office of Philanthropy & Stewardship, effective Sept. 1.

 In this key leadership role, Rose will oversee and provide strategic direction to the Seminary’s fundraising efforts, donor relations, and stewardship initiatives. Rose brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy and fundraising.

 A graduate of Alma College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and anthropology, she has a proven track record of success, having held several pivotal roles at both Alma College and Northwood University

 As the vice president for Philanthropy and Stewardship, Rose will be responsible for guiding and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies that align with Louisville Seminary’s vision and values. She will collaborate closely with the development team, board members, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of philanthropy and stewardship within the Seminary community. Moreover, Rose will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability and growth of scholarships, programs, and resources that empower the institution to fulfill its mission of preparing individuals for effective ministry and service.

 Sherie Veramay, senior director of Planned Giving at Alma College, said, “Emalee brings a strong commitment to best practices, enhanced by her values-based approach to philanthropy and her extensive experience in alum engagement. I have most enjoyed Emalee’s collaborative nature. Working closely with her on many significant fundraising and engagement events has enabled me to see her skills and expertise firsthand. I have no doubt that she is the right person at the right time for the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. I shall miss her. She is the finest of colleagues.”
