Immersion conference at Montreat takes a deep dive into Vital Congregations

 

Church pastors and builders can join in person or online to explore the seven marks of congregational vitality

LEXINGTON, Kentucky — The Presbyterian Office of Vital Congregations is inviting people to gather at the beginning of November around Lake Susan at Montreat Conference Center for a deep dive into the seven marks of vital congregations.

The Immersion, set for Nov. 2-3 at Montreat Conference Center, will be led by:

Opening worship will be led by the Rev. Dr. Tom Bryson, Pastor of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Closing worship will be led by the Rev. DeEtte Decker, Acting Senior Director of Communications for the Presbyterian Mission Agency.

The Immersion will be directly preceded by the 2022 Evangelism Conference, Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, also at Montreat. The conference, also available online, is presented by Presbyterian Theology, Formation & Evangelism, which includes Vital Congregations among its ministries.
