Feb. 16 Facebook Live video featuring Rick Ufford-Chase now available for viewing

‘Welcoming the Stranger: A Conversation about Leviticus 19 and Matthew 25 for Our Time’ is first in series of monthly multifaith conversations

LOUISVILLE — In an ongoing effort to engage the wider church in more intentional and open dialogue with persons of other faith traditions, the Presbyterian Mission Agency’s office of Interfaith Relations today launched its new Facebook Live series, “Third Thursdays,” on the PC(USA)’s Facebook page.

On Feb. 16 at 12:00 p.m. EST, Ruling Elder Rick Ufford-Chase, the Presbyterian Mission Agency’s associate for Interfaith Formation, welcomed three guest panelists, Sarah Henkel, Sahar Alsahlani, and Ahed Festuk from Stony Point Center’s Community of Living Traditions for “Welcoming the Stranger: A Conversation about Leviticus 19 and Matthew 25 for Our Time.”

The video is available for viewing on the PC(USA)’s Facebook page.

The next installment in the “Third Thursdays” series will be live on Facebook on Thursday, March 16, at 12:00 p.m. EST.
