Technology is impacting seminaries

Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, is planning to close its satellite campuses in Seattle, Menlo Park and Orange County and reduce degree and program course offerings in Phoenix and Colorado. The changes, if approved by accreditors, will be effective at the end of September 2019.

LPTS president Michael Jinkins announces retirement

Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS) president, the Rev. Dr. Michael Jinkins, announced his retirement during the seminary’s spring Board of Trustees meeting, which took place Friday, April 28. Jinkins, who began his term as the seminary’s ninth president September 1, 2010, will formally retire September 2, 2018.

Korean ‘feminist evangelist’ crosses the Pacific to find answers

Min-Hee Kim was one of 12 young women sponsored by the Racial Ethnic & Women’s Ministries Young Women’s Leadership program who participated in the United Nations’ 61st CSW. Each year the ministry provides scholarships to young Presbyterian women from around the world to attend the event.
