Moving forward by looking back

Looking ahead during a Thursday conference call to their in-person meeting in Louisville Monday and Tuesday, members of the Moving Forward Implementation Commission on Thursday took a look back to see how they got where they’re at.

Time to make sure Presbyterians are moving forward

Monday was the Moving Forward Implementation Commission’s moment to begin moving forward. The 12-member, two-year commission, created by the 2018 General Assembly to carry out recommendations of the Way Forward Commission and those of other groups regarding such goals as transparency and cost-sharing, met for nearly an hour by video conference Monday evening to, among other tasks, talk about what the commission hopes to accomplish.

Way Forward Commission and All Agency Review Committee respond to PMA Board comments

Following a series of comments approved by the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) in response to the report and recommendations of the Way Forward Commission (WFC) and all Agency Review Committee (AARC), the two Assembly-created groups have concurred in a response that affirms their original recommendations.

Big Tent attendance grows as workshop platform takes shape

As attendance for this year’s Big Tent gathering in St. Louis continues to grow, workshop presenters are gearing up for the event. The biennial gathering will take place July 6–8 on the campus of Washington University.
