Presbyterian response to Maui wildfires continues

A community in Upcountry Maui that endured a wildfire at the same time as Lahaina is receiving a helping hand from concerned Presbyterians who are answering the call to donate to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA).

California school and church community find new opportunities to learn and serve with the Presbyterian Giving Catalog

For the past decade, the Presbyterian Giving Catalog has offered individuals, churches, and communities ways to contribute to causes across the globe according to their unique interests and passions. For one school in California — and the church that surrounds it — this past year’s Giving Catalog offered a whole new way to make Christmas meaningful.

Presbyterian Mission Agency staff make good neighbors

The ministry areas of the Presbyterian Mission Agency and offices of the PC(USA) practiced being good neighbors in the marketplace at this week’s Association for Partners in Christian Education event. APCE’s Marketplace, which features a bookstore and informational resources from various denominations, seminaries, and church-adjacent non-profits, is a major attraction at the annual event.  

A mission-minded scavenger hunt

At its recent meeting, the Presbytery of Boise invited congregations and denominational partners to display their mission activities in a presbytery-wide mission fair. To add some fun and competition, meeting participants were given a scavenger hunt list to track down answers that could be found only on the tables or by asking the mission fair participants.
