Global partner works to eradicate systemic poverty by stabilizing families

Like many global partners of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, the Compassion Protestant Society (CPS), the diaconal arm of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL), is working to cultivate thriving lives for vulnerable families. In 2021 alone, CPS assisted nearly 2,000 families.

The Israel/Palestine Mission Network of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.),  the Office of Public Witness and Presbyterian World Mission will host a webinar at noon Eastern Time on March 15 titled “Israel/Palestine:  A discussion with human rights experts — is this apartheid?”

Tent of Nations brothers speak out about Jan. 28 attack

Mission co-worker Douglas Dicks traveled to the Tent of Nations on a cold, wet, foggy morning this week for a press conference and meeting with faith leaders and other dignitaries hosted by the Nassar family. Brothers Daoud and Daher Nassar were hospitalized after a vicious attack at their farm on Jan. 28.
