Blackboard with the words Back to School written on itLOUISVILLE – Back2School, the daily devotional series geared to youth and young adults and those who walk alongside them in ministry, returns to d365.org on Monday, Aug. 13.

Featuring Scripture, prayer and reflection accompanied by gentle music, the Back2School devotionals help students of all ages live more faithfully, during a time of transition — as they reflect daily on how God is work in their lives and world.

Gina Yeager-Buckley, associate for Christian formation for children and youth in Presbyterian Mission, is the first week’s writer for the Back2School devotionals.

“This year’s theme is ‘Fresh Start,’ ” says Yeager-Buckley. “As students begin a new year of school, our focus is on their emotions and experiences and how this relates to their faith formation and service in their world.”

Through her ministries with youth work, Yeager-Buckley has also produced a Quicksheets “Back to School” series. Offering fast and fabulous ideas for youth ministry, this series will be helpful for planning the new youth ministry year.

D.365 is produced by Passport Inc., in partnership with the Presbyterian Mission Agency, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Episcopal Church. Since it was launched in response to 9/11, millions have visited the site annually for inspiration and relevant reflections on Scripture.
