Adriana Ballard has joined the Presbyterian Foundation as the new Director of Investments and Assistant Vice President. She succeeds Anita Clemons, who retired from her position as Senior Vice President and Director of Investments.

With extensive experience in investments, finance, and operations, Ballard brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Before joining the Presbyterian Foundation, she served as the Director of Asset Owner Solutions at Nasdaq. Prior to Nasdaq, Adriana spent more than 14 years as a Portfolio Manager at the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS), a public pension fund managing $34 billion in assets. Her expertise in investment management and financial strategy will be invaluable to the Foundation.

“We are thrilled to announce that Adriana Ballard has joined our team as our new Director of Investments,” says the Rev. Dr. Tom Taylor, President and CEO of the Presbyterian Foundation. “Adriana brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in investments, finance, and operations. She has a proven track record of delivering results in both the private and public sector. She is a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and will be a passionate advocate for our mission and vision, as well as for our constituents and partners. We are confident that she will be an invaluable addition to our team and organization. We welcome Adriana and greatly look forward to working with her.”

Ballard began her career at Goldman Sachs, where she worked as a Senior Client Analyst with the Private Wealth Management Team. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Universidad de Los Andes (Bogota), a PgDip from Universidad del Rosario (Bogota) in International Business, and an MBA from IE Business School (Madrid). She is a native of Colombia.

Ballard plans to relocate from Austin, Texas, to near the offices of the Foundation in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The role at the Foundation particularly appealed to Ballard because she wanted to use her skills, knowledge, and experience to work for an organization with a strong sense of mission. “As I’ve matured and grown closer to God, I have felt a call to use my 25 years of experience in investing in an organization that embodies purpose and significance,” Ballard says. “The Foundation exemplifies a commitment to the Presbyterian Church, its donors, and global partners, all with a goal of global betterment and philanthropy, and that is what I was seeking in my career. I’m excited to have the opportunity to join the organization and to work on this team, and I’m looking forward to moving to the Louisville area.”

The Presbyterian Foundation is committed to socially responsible investing, and Ballard’s expertise aligns well with the organization’s values. She will play a crucial role in managing endowments and ensuring that investments reflect the Foundation’s mission and vision.
