Presbyterians from across the country joined more than 150,000 people in Washington, D.C. last weekend for the People’s Climate March. Crowds lined the streets from the Capitol to the White House, ending the march at the Washington Monument. The large demonstration and smaller ones around the country were planned to coincide with the Trump administration’s 100th day in office. Read more »

Recientemente, El Programa Presbiteriano de Asistencia en Desastres llevo a cabo su 21ª reunión anual del equipo de respuesta nacional (NRT por sus siglas en ingles). Este año, voluntarios/as de todo el país, se reunieron en Atlanta, Georgia para re conectarse y aprender a cómo pueden servir mejor a las iglesias y comunidades que se encuentran en medio del desastre. Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS) president, the Rev. Dr. Michael Jinkins, announced his retirement during the seminary’s spring Board of Trustees meeting, which took place Friday, April 28. Jinkins, who began his term as the seminary’s ninth president September 1, 2010, will formally retire September 2, 2018. Read more »
