It’s truly a ‘virtual world’ when someone born and raised in South Carolina can work full-time in Portland, Maine, while also serving as a virtual Young Adult Volunteer fellow with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in Louisville, Kentucky. 
My tee shot gained altitude, a rare outcome and hopeful. But then it started to curve, bending more and more to the left. This was during the decade of my life when I played a little golf.

The question now is ‘How do we understand and influence these conditions?’” 
Two Louisiana churches facing declining membership and dwindling resources are now worshiping together and building a new community. 
Dr. Love Sechrest, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Columbia Theological Seminary, announced that Dr. Jake Myers has been elected by the Board of Trustees as the Wade P. Huie Associate Professor of Homiletics. The chair was established in 2004 through the generosity of then-Trustee William S. “Billy” Morris III to honor the legacy of Wade P. Huie, Jr. (’46). Dr. Huie served Columbia as professor of preaching for three decades beginning in 1957.
