Theological education in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is stepping up to the upheaval of our time, says the Rev. Dr. Katherine H. Smith.
“Our theological education institutions are innovative, responsive and responsible,” she said. 
The Board of Trustees of Presbyterian Pan American School is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. W. Joseph “Joey” King as the new President of the School. King brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished track record in education, technology integration, strategy, and leadership to his new role. 
As summer comes to an end and schools resume, young adults transition again between communities of formation — the homes and churches that raised them and the universities and vocational programs that promise to continue their growth. 
Author, activist, speaker and songwriter/musician David LaMotte, who’s spoken and performed at many PC(USA) gatherings over the years, has a unique take on how true change occurs in the world. 
Shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, a historic transformation occurred inside a historic sanctuary in the Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights: the Trinity Presbyterian Fellowship was officially chartered as Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fort Washington Heights within the Presbytery of New York City. 
Striding across the Menaul School campus on a sunny New Mexico morning, Julie Bean radiated an exuberance and optimism that were nothing short of contagious.
Bean, who stepped into her new role as Menaul’s president and head of school on June 1, waxed enthusiastic over the Presbyterian-related school’s mission, values and ethos. 
Religious leaders from multiple faiths, including the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), came together on Monday in Washington, D.C. to kick off a season of prayer and action as the country hurtles toward the election of a new U.S. president. 
The Rev. Dr. Paul Snyder, who pastors an ELCA church and a PC(USA) church in the Presbytery of Minnesota Valleys, offered up a fascinating week-long course at Synod School last week he called “Leadership Development NOT Leadership Acquisition.” 
There are 20 churches connected with the Presbytery of Utah across the state. In an effort to build connections with youth from the various churches, the presbytery created a ministry role to make that happen.
