The Rev. Keatan King figured she’d show, rather than tell, a crowd of 1,000 or so people attending closing
worship during the first-ever online national gathering of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators. Her sermon, “Hope,” took APCEans from station to station inside the church she serves, St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Houston, from the perspective of a doorkeeper. 
As congregations — and congregational singing — return to in-person worship, the Presbyterian Writers Guild is sponsoring a one-hour panel presentation on hymn-writing featuring three renowned Presbyterian hymn composers.

The Rev. Dr. Robert H. Meneilly, the founding pastor of Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, Kansas, one of the largest congregations in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), died Tuesday at age 96. 
Years ago, at a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) youth conference in East Texas, Kurt Esslinger felt the Spirit nudging him toward a ministry that reaches out to people who feel they don’t belong because of their differences.

Serge is a young boy in Congo who lost both his parents. He started living with his grandmother, but when Serge misbehaved, his grandmother accused him of being a sorcerer. He was kicked out and forced to live on the street. 
As her college graduation approached, Maggie Lewis remembers feeling that God was calling her to be a missionary in Africa. She didn’t know exactly how to make that happen, so she decided to do some research.
