Saint James Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, North Carolina, has been involved in social justice ministry “from its inception,” Ruling Elder Mildred Powell says. 
Continuing its pattern of monthly meetings, the Unification Commission gathered via Zoom Sunday afternoon to hear reports from the four work groups the commission formed during its most recent meeting, March 9-11 in Louisville, Kentucky. 
During Thursday’s final installment for the 2022-23 academic year in Princeton Theological Seminary’s Future of American Democracy series, three panelists took on the consequences of people’s faltering faith in institutions. 
Overcoming conflicts that arise between people of different faiths in Indonesia will be discussed by an International Peacemaker who plans to travel to the United States later this year to shed light on issues affecting her country.
