Extended Serving of the Communion of the Church

The 211^th General Assembly (1999) confirmed an amendment to the Book of Order providing for the extended serving of the Lord’s Supper to members isolated from congregational worship.  This resource provides the history and theology of this initiative, and suggests a sample liturgy for the practice of extended serving.
