Farsijana teaches at Duta Wacana Christian University, helping prepare Christian leaders to serve the church in the world’s largest Muslim country. While collaborating on developing a peace studies program, Farsijana also heads the Indonesian Women’s Coalition (KPI) in their province. KPI is a predominantly Muslim group that seeks to empower women and children. “Teaching students about social entrepreneurship has been a successful effort by sharing our commitment for creating a social justice and peace for everybody in their communities, society, nation, and countries,” says Farsijana. Farsijana, along with her husband Bernie, a retired mission co-worker, share their home as a center for hospitality and creative reconciliation.
