Dear friends,
This past February, we were excited to welcome our first two Presbyterian delegations of the year. The first delegation traveled to Nicaragua from Appleton, Wisconsin while the second delegation came from three different churches of the Sacramento Presbytery and one person from Louisville, Kentucky. Both delegations visited some of the rural communities CEPAD works with to build relationships between U.S. congregations and our Nicaraguan brothers and sisters and to learn more from the work CEPAD is doing in those communities.
Since their visit, we have received more than four delegations from all over the USA and will be receiving many more this year. We are happy and very grateful for the support of the Presbyterian churches not only for CEPAD but also for our work here in Nicaragua.
If your church or presbytery is interested in mission trips and doesn’t know where to go or how to prepare for such a trip, we can help. Please write to us and we will be happy to give you more information about Nicaragua and our partner CEPAD to help you in your discernment process. If you would like to schedule your own trip to Nicaragua, email us with any questions to get started.Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jhan and Ian
