Have debt from student loans? Navigating the Student Loan Forgiveness process can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. We’re here to help!
The Financial Aid for Service office and the Board of Pensions of the PC(USA) are partnering with PeopleJoy to provide student loan advising as well as hands-on Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) application paperwork support.
We encourage anyone who has worked at a nonprofit organization to sign up for coaching. This includes all church leaders, volunteers, those serving on sessions and church staff (including those who may not be members of a PC[USA] church).
By working with your personal student loan coach, you will be able to accomplish the following:
- Understand your student loans. A comprehensive review of your loans, both private and federal, will be provided. PeopleJoy will help you choose the repayment plan that works best for you.
- Determine eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Understand the PSLF program and find out if you qualify for loan forgiveness.
- Navigate the complicated PSLF application process. Remove the hassle and confusion of documenting employment, switching loan types, and other paperwork-heavy processes. PeopleJoy will not only walk you through the paperwork but will file it for you.
