As I type I am watching one of my favorite movies of all time, The Milagro Beanfield War<\/em><\/a>. This tale of a local farmer who diverts water to irrigate his beanfield gains support of the townspeople because they resent the water laws that favor the rich is filled with rich spiritual imagery.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s farm bill favors the rich just like the water laws in the fictional land of Milagro. The opportunity to reform it is not only filled with spiritual imagery, but spiritual and physical reality. <\/p>\n
