Jerilyn and I got out in the yard yesterday and began building the raised beds for the garden.\u00a0 As we were working she looked at me and said “Today, we are declaring our independence from crappy food.”<\/p>\n

She’s right.\u00a0 It will be a good while before we have our food constitution and bill of rights written and ratified, but we have definitely made our declaration of independence.\u00a0 We have now staked our claim to eat good food, not just staked our tomatoes.<\/p>\n
