Now, it looks like Budweiser is experimenting with unwanted additives in a favorite adult (usually) beverage!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WASHINGTON &#8211; October 8 \u2013 Greenpeace released the results of analyses<br \/>\nshowing the presence of an experimental genetically engineered (GE)<br \/>\nstrain of rice at an Anheuser-Busch operated mill in Arkansas that is<br \/>\nused to brew Budweiser. <\/p>\n<p>An independent laboratory test, commissioned by<br \/>\nGreenpeace, detected the presence of GE rice (Bayer LL601) in three out<br \/>\nof four samples taken at the mill.<br \/>\nBayer LL601 rice was the source of the 2006 contamination of at least<br \/>\n30 percent of rice stocks in the United States. The GE contamination<br \/>\nhad a massive negative economic impact on the U.S. rice industry as<br \/>\nmany countries subsequently stopped or significantly restricted the<br \/>\nimport of U.S. rice.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Anheuser-Busch must make a clear statement about the level of GE<br \/>\ncontamination of the rice used to brew Budweiser in the U.S. and spell<br \/>\nout what measures are in place to ensure this beer does not reach the<br \/>\ncompany\u2019s export markets,\u201d said Doreen Stabinsky, Greenpeace<br \/>\nagriculture campaigner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I highlighted the dangerous effects of additives on kids below.
