LOLcats is part of a larger Internet Thing (also known as a mime) where one thing leads to another and soon there are pages and pages on many different web sites with folks from around the world riffing on a charmingly goofy theme.<\/p>\n

In this case – taking pictures of cats and suppling a caption, written in a kind of grammar and spelling that a cat might use. <\/p>\n
