NPR ran a story called “The Shelf Life of a Vintage Twinkie<\/a>” a few years back. You can listen to the 4-1\/2 minute interview with Michele Norris, a retired science teacher at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, Maine. Michele tells about a food
\npreservation experiment he began 30 years ago. He and students set out to determine the shelf life of a Hostess Twinkie.<\/p>\n
