And speaking of food (weren’t you?), the
\nCampaign for Fair Food is picking up steam. The success of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) in working out an agreement with Whole Foods<\/a> was commended by the Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).<\/p>\n

More recently, CIW members and
\nInterfaith Action recently concluded the two-week Chipotle Mini-tour, from
\nImmokalee to Chipotle’s headquarters in Denver and back again with educational
\nevents and Chipotle actions in many cities along the way. \u00a0Allies from
\nDenver joined us for a 30-hour vigil outside Chipotle’s headquarters to make it
\nclear to the sustainable food leader that any real solution to end farmworker
\npovery and abuses must include farmworker participation. \u00a0See pictures of the action, an inspiring candlelight prayer service and an overview of the tour
\nfrom Interfaith Action<\/a>.<\/p>\n
