O God, You Send Us Out to Walk<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n TALLIS\u2019 CANON LM\u00a0 (\u201cAll Praise to Thee, My God, This Night\u201d)<\/p>\n O God, you send us out to walk, We walk with joyful, eager feet When we grow weary, may we know O Lord, we walk in safety here Not all here walk with strength or speed ——————<\/p>\n
\nFor faith is more than idle talk;
\nIt\u2019s more than saying, \u201cBe well fed!\u201d
\nWhen others don\u2019t have daily bread.<\/p>\n
\nSo others will have food to eat.
\nWe staff the checkpoints, offer rest,
\nAnd serve you, Lord, for we\u2019ve been blessed.<\/p>\n
\nThat some must walk where\u2019er they go.
\nFor water, food, or work to do,
\nThey walk till they grow weary, too.<\/p>\n
\nAnd know that others walk in fear.
\nThey flee oppression, flood or war;
\nEach fear-filled day, they walk some more.<\/p>\n
\nBut all can give to those in need.
\nAnd as we serve you, may we know
\nYou walk with us where\u2019er we go.<\/p>\n
