The next Farm Bill isn\u2019t supposed to come until 2012, but Congress started work on it last month, two-and-a-half years ahead of schedule. Not surprisingly, no one\u2019s asking everyday people or everyday farmers what they want from the bill.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Farm Policy<\/a>, a daily newsletter about food and farm policy. Sign up for the email service and you\u2019ll receive everything you need to know about what\u2019s going on in D.C. It\u2019s a ton of information, but worth skimming each morning.<\/p>\n

The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition<\/a>\u2019s blog. The Presbyterian Hunger Program has been supporting this excellent coalition for over a decade.<\/p>\n

The Farm Bill and Beyond<\/a>, an outstanding and very comprehensive report about how the 2008 Farm Bill came to be. It\u2019s a little long, but definitely worth reading if you want some insight on how the next fight will play out.<\/p>\n

The blogs and twitter feeds of healthy farm advocates like @FoodDeclaration<\/a>, Environmental Working Group<\/a>, Food Democracy Now<\/a> and Grist<\/a>.<\/p>\n
