If this COP24 Global Climate Summit is primarily about implementing the Paris Climate Agreement, it would help to know what that is, right?<\/p>\n

So, the Agreement is only 31 pages, but I for one would rather see an infographic that explains it.<\/p>\n

Right. So the first goal for COP24 is to devise the mechanisms for implementation of the Paris Agreement.<\/p>\n

The second goal is to successfully conclude the Talanoa Dialogue, which provides the foundation for climate progress post-2020. Talanoa is a Fiji word which roughly means ‘inclusive, participatory and transparent dialogue.’<\/i><\/p>\n
