Congregation-Based Community Organizing: The Why, What and How in 60 Minutes!

November 16, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST

Congregation-Based Community Organizing, or CBCO, is a powerful strategy for eradicating poverty, dismantling racism, and building congregational vitality. CBCO will energize your congregation and help connect you with community members and groups as you pursue justice and attempt to live out your call as a Hunger Action, Earth Care, or Matthew 25 church.

Reverend Alison Dunn-Almaguer, Senior Organizer for the Washington Interfaith Network (WIN), will lead a dynamic session on the why, what and how of community organizing – and you are invited to spend an hour with us as we explore this powerful missional approach. Those ignited by the idea will have a chance to participate in a more in-depth training session in spring of 2023.

Hosted by the Presbyterian Hunger Program and Matthew 25

You are invited to a Zoom meeting.
When: Nov 16, 2022 12:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
