1001 regional gatherings are free one-day events provided by the Presbyterian Mission Agency to help prepare, equip and sustain lay and ordained leaders for the ministry. The morning will include small groups and workshops will be offered in the afternoon. Regional gatherings will now offer more comprehensive training with a new worshiping community leader and a theologian facilitating. The goal of regional gatherings is to give pastors, elders and lay leaders theological and practical tools needed for effective community engagement.
