SUMMARY:Young Adult Advocacy Conference
DESCRIPTION:Location: The Presbyterian Church (USA) Center in Louisville.\nPurpose: 25-50 Young adults from college and post-graduate studies \n1.Present a weekend conference of plenaries and workshops on how to do justice advocacy on the local\, state\, national\, and global levels. It will provide training on justice advocacy\n2.Provide resources from the church and non-profits.\n3.Focus on connecting local young adults.\n4.It will provide networking opportunities with other young adults on the service they have been putting forth and issues of importance.\n5.It will serve as an introduction to the social justice work of the church and connect faith and justice\n6.It will offer exposure to how denominations do justice advocacy (hunger\, grants\, disaster assistance) and a chance to visit the headquarters of the denomination and meet leaders.  \n7.To train recruiters and leaders for future events
